My letter to Christchurch

Dear Christchurch,

I’m sorry to hear that friends, and family have died in the earthquake.

Out of all the goodness of my hart I will support these who don’t have enough energy to survivor.

I hope that after the earthquake, there is not going to be another more!

Earthquake in Christchurch

On Tuesday the 22nd of 2011, Christchurch was hit by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, it was 5km deep and hit Christchurch at 12.51 in the afternoon.

The earth is dived into big chunks, these chunks are called tectonic planets. When the tectonic planets rub against each other, it can cause an earthquake. This is what happened in Christchurch back in September, and again yesterday.

Shaking and rumbling of the earth caused many buildings to topple over. Rescuers are still looking for survivors under the collapsed buildings. To be able to get the survivors they have had to cut parts of their body off so they can be freed from the rubble.

Cinderella

Under the yellow bold moon, in an enchanting place, Cinderella danced with her prince charming.

Cinderella and prince charming, were dancing on the balcony, which had the most terrific garden.

Tumbling, splashing water pour down, as Cinderella dances with prince charming in an enchanting place on the balcony.

Baseball

After a great lunchtime, we got to play baseball with Cola. Cola is a fames person. He was on the black socks team. He is going to teach us how to play baseball. We looked for parterns then we got spit up into teams, red and blue teams. I was in the red team. We were first on the batting team. It was so many I don't even know how many we scored. It was the blue teams tern. We got almost all of them out even if they had more pepole than us. I wanted to play for an hour but we only had 45 mintes.

Netbook Day

Mrs.Burt came into our classroom to teach us how to be responsible with our netbooks. It involved lots of listening and instructions .

Then Mr.Burt came in and talked to us about the rules for our netbooks. We are not allowed to kick our desk because if we did it wold have banged the netbook and it might have a little crack on it.

After Mr.Burt had finished talking, Mrs. Burt handed out the netbooks. It was in a little box. Mrs.Burt taught us the instruction about how to open the box. I thought that my netbook would be a lot bigger then it really is. - But I still love it!
